"Shannon’s online workouts on Zoom have been my lockdown saviour. Shannon takes time to carefully consider each workout routine and tailor it to your specific needs and goals and her professional camera set up makes it feel like she’s in the room with you. Even when my own camera angle isn’t great, she knows what I’m doing and suggests adjustments to finesse each move so that I get the most out of every exercise. "Shannon was fantastic in the run up to my wedding, and really helped me to feel lovely and slim in my dress. In the 6 month run up to my big day I dropped from a size 12-14 to a 10- 12, achieved my body fat percentage goal of 25%, lost 4 inches from my stomach, 3 inches from my hips and 2 inches from each thigh! It really was a transformation, and I could really feel my muscles tightening and becoming more toned with each passing week. I really don’t feel that I would have achieved these results on my own, and having a regular weigh-in/ measuring session with Shannon was a great motivator, and really helped me to stay on track.
Shannon kept my workout routines varied, and was always there at the end of the phone or an email if I had any questions about the techniques or routines I should be following. She also explained how my muscles were working in each exercise and the effect that this could have on my body shape if I stuck to the programme – this really helped to motivate me at times when I just didn’t feel like getting off the sofa. She also really helped from a nutritional perspective as well, providing me with a lot of sensible and useful advice about eating the right sort of foods, but without being judgemental or preachy.
She is an excellent trainer, and is also really nice and easy to get along with. She isn’t the type of trainer to yell at you as that just isn’t her style, however if you’re willing to put the effort in you will definitely see results, and Shannon will support you every step of the way."
"Shannon has been working with me for just short of a year and I have found her to be very professional. Her programmes are always interesting and allow for fitness progression to happen. She is skilled in showing how to undertake the exercise and will help if the exercise is not working.

"I always thought that exercise was not my thing. I lacked confidence in a gym environment and thought people would be watching and judging me.
Being trained by Shannon changed all of that. The first few weeks were tough but Shannon kept me motivated towards my goal. Within four weeks I noticed the results both in my body shape and my fitness levels, and by the end of my 12 week programme I lost 22 cm (9 inches) and 4% bodyfat!

"I initially embarked on Shannon's ski fit programme for my upcoming annual skiing trip. My friends are all running nuts and a heck of a lot fitter than me, and over the last few years I've felt that I've slowed the party down by needing to stop half way down a mountain to catch my breath and regularly needing to take a moment to ease the lactic burn in my legs. Not this year! My fitness levels were back to where they were 6 years ago when I was training regularly, but better than that was the complete absence of any lactic burn attacks. I felt so much better on the mountain than in previous years and all my friends were asking what I'd been doing to get so fit!
We've carried on our sessions since my skiing trip and I've been getting stronger and fitter. I've also been listening to Shannon's nutrition advice and trying to take that on board too. The proof is in the pudding and I had my work annual medical last week, a comprehensive three hour BUPA check over. I couldn't have been happier with the results - on the blood side my previously raised uric acid and cholesterol levels are now below average, my body fat percentage is down 7%, my ECG fitness levels (I was wired up on a treadmill) are up, my strength tests are up and my spine shape whilst holding weights is much better aligned - which apparently shows that my core stability has also improved. "Being the same age as Madonna, I have always thought that age should not prevent me from being healthy, happy and sexy. However, long working hours, the stress of work and family life, tempting food and attractive TV programmes have distracted me from that goal. I was a gym member but I rarely went there. With neither a plan nor enthusiasm, my efforts to exercise were without any positive results—until I met Shannon three months ago. Since then, Shannon has created a plan of how I can increase strength, improve my posture and burn fat tissue. We have worked hard, but it has never been unbearable or even difficult. Stretching at the end of a session helps a lot, and I never experience muscle pain after the sessions.
Actually, I look forward to having a session with Shannon after a hard day of work. It is never boring, and every session has something new and challenging. She uses the time very effectively by alternating exercises and the muscles involved. For example, if my legs are tired, we work on core or arm muscles while the legs are recovering. Shannon’s positive energy is contagious.
After just three months of exercising, I am much slimmer without having to diet, and my posture is amazing. I am physically and mentally stronger and my confidence level is unbelievable. If someone had told me earlier that exercising could improve my social life, I would not have believed it, but that is what happened to me."
